Spot UV printing is unarguably my absolute favorite way to lay a design down on paper. To take it one step further and apply Spot UV to a project that has been silk laminated after printing, and it’s perfection! It’s a beautiful mix of matte and gloss and smooth and soft, with a slightly raised texture, on paper that ends up feeling like plastic. During the design process, selected areas of the design are chosen and set apart in a secondary file, which shows the printer that it must go over those areas with a high gloss finish, which results in two different, but perfectly complimentary coatings. Absolutely amazing. This page is reserved to showcase my designs which have been completed with the Spot UV printing process.
