2016 Team JB Senior Model Program- Senior Portraits- Franklin, TN Logo Design

I designed this Logo for the Photography branch of our company.  My husband, JB Brookman is a Franklin, TN Senior Portrait Photographer. Earlier this year, he put a call out for Senior Models to represent his studio for 2016.  He needed a Logo that would represent the cutting edge style that is popular with youth today. I incorporated triangular patterns that represent both a forrest theme and an arrow theme.  I wanted to use grey and teal for future branding and for print on tshirts, postcards and video. JB is actually picking up his finished tshirts tomorrow and he cannot wait for his Model Team to be wearing them around Williamson County. JB does Senior Portraits in Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill and surrounding cities! You can check out his websites here:  Franklin TN Senior Portraits  Nashville Photographer Here are a few images with the new Logo on them: Thanks for stopping by!  Feel free to click on my Portfolio to see some of the Design and awesome clients that I have been able to serve! -JEN

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep- Postcard Design

This is one of the most powerful and meaningful projects that I have ever been a part of, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Their mission is to provide the gift of remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby.  Founded by Cheryl Haggard and Sandy Puc’, they are a nonprofit organization that has provided thousands of families of babies who are stillborn or are at risk of dying as newborns, with free professional portraits with their baby. Their compassion and benevolence struck me right in the heart, as I watched the video on their about page, and during my first phone call with the executive director, I couldn’t hold back my tears. Their ability to fulfill such a sensitive need, with so much strength and dignity is inspiring, to say the least.  It truly is a gift of healing for these parents and families. To quote one of their photographers, “Understand that this is portraiture.  The end result is not a snap shot…..It becomes quite a foggy cloud for them, and they have to be brought back to that moment of knowing that, in fact, they have a son or a […]

Senior Pictures Frankin & Spring Hill, TN- JB Brookman Photography- Facebook Cover Design

This is a Facebook Cover Image that I designed for JB Brookman Photography- who creates Senior Pictures in Franklin & Spring Hill, Tennessee. I featured the branding that I had already created, for his company.  I liked a black and white dominated design, because it really featured the gorgeous faces, of his Seniors!  The colors, simplicity and design also go hand in hand with the brand new website that JB is about to launch. The Class of 2015 is going to have one heck of a ride, having their Senior Portraits created! Until next time, -JEN

Logo Design- Sang & Sons HVAC Contractors- Nashville

This is a logo I designed for local HVAC Contractors in Tennessee.  They are a new company in the Nashville area, composed of two brothers.  They named the company after their Dad. The brothers are from New Orleans, so they wanted a fleur de lis.  They also wanted to combine the symbolic and literal, so we created the logo out of air ducts and heating/cooling elements. I love the way it turned out and I can’t wait to hear about the huge success of Sang & Sons!   Until next time… -JEN

Branding Package: Kara L. Youngblood Attorney At Law- Jen Brookman Graphic Design & Printing

I got to design this Branding Package for a wonderful attorney in Mcminville, TN. She was looking for a design that was classy, yet modern.  I was super excited to use a powerful color scheme of reds and oranges- with some grey thrown in for accents. Once we had come to an agreement on a powerful brand logo, we could move on to the rest of the full Branding Package.  This included Business Cards, Envelopes and Letterhead.  I was especially excited about the concept of having a super colorful back of the biz card. To top it off, the cards were printed by Moo, on their super-smooth, ultra-thick Luxe stock.  Moo is currently my printer-crush when it comes to business card production.  They don’t hold anything back, sprinkling a little extra love and magic into their products.  I’ve never actually been present for a Moo delivery, but I’m pretty sure my last order was delivered by unicorn.  Or unicow?  Whatever it was, I could just feel the wonder, radiating from that little package, and I couldn’t open it fast enough.  (I have my own cards printed at Moo.)  Kara’s new cards will definitely impress!! I’m always so excited for the opportunity […]

Banner Design: The Nashville Zoo Halloween Event (Ghouls At Grassmere)

A few months ago I got to work with the Nashville Zoo- on four large banners they needed designed for their Halloween Event.  I was super excited to say the least! The Ghouls at Grassmere event is a kid-friendly trick or treating extravaganza!  You weave your way through a maze of lights, animals and dressed up Zoo employees who hand out candy to the excited children.  It is a fantastic event. The Zoo needed four 6 foot by 8 foot vinyl banners, which would be placed near the entrance of the park.  I tried to use as many actual zoo animals as I could in the design.  I went for exaggerated eyes, in all of the animals and characters.  I also tried not to make it too scary while keeping the Halloween theme. Thanks for reading! -JEN
